近年来，张志辉作为一名基层农业技术科技特派员，不仅长期奔走在农业生产和科技推广的前沿阵地，更是把农业科学技术的火炬传递到了田间地头，为农民提供了全方位、专业化的服务。12月10日，他又一次亲临慈利县零溪镇的一片蔬菜田中，与当地的菜农们共同度过了一个充满智慧与汗水的日子。在他的悉心指导下，这片蔬菜田不仅产量丰硕，而且品质上乘，成为了一幅生动的地理画卷。
张志辉深知， agriculture is not just about growing crops, it's about nurturing a sustainable future for our planet. That's why he has been tirelessly working to promote the adoption of cutting-edge agricultural technologies and practices in his community. Under his guidance, the town of zero creek has established four technology demonstration bases, completed over 5,000 acres of green circular cultivation demonstration base with double-luxury agricultural professional cooperative society, built more than 1,000 acres of rice-oil multi-crop demonstration base with Zhangjiajie Boluo Agricultural Development Co., Ltd., and established over 500 acres of rice-maize intercropping (red leaf lettuce) base with vegetable growers such as Huang Yunhua.
Moreover, he has also been actively conducting technical training sessions for local farmers. This year alone, he organized four training sessions that reached over 150 participants and provided on-site guidance more than 40 times. He also utilized mobile communication platforms like WeChat and phone calls to provide remote assistance to hundreds of farmers.
As part of his commitment to serving the rural community, Zhang Zhili signed service contracts with twenty-six new type agricultural operation entities this year. These included three village economic cooperation societies - Chengqiang Village Economic Cooperation Society, Xin Hong Village Economic Cooperation Society, and Jindong Village Economic Cooperation Society - as well as twenty farmer professional cooperatives such as Qing Song Water Rice Planting Professional Cooperative Society. Additionally, he partnered with two family farms to provide specialized services tailored to their unique needs.
Through these efforts and many others like them across the region where Zhang Zhili works as a science envoy for agriculture development at grass-roots level in China’s Hunan province; we see how one dedicated individual can make a difference by bridging gaps between science research & farming practice while ensuring better livelihoods through practical innovation!
